Zefs Dockside Bar and Grill is such a nice place to go for lunch and dinner. The drinks are good and the food is delicious. I love the French onion soup and soda refills are free. The waiters are great and friendly. I ho there a lot and I enjoy myself every time 💕
Absolutely great Service !our waitress was excellent. ! The food is so delicious and they even had a Gluten Free bun for my Hamburger. The Home made fries are delightful , reminds me of having them when we were young. Highly recommend Zef's. ! MY friend had the taco's. Yummmmm
Just came by boat with 5 of us for the Sunday brunch. We've eaten here often, but was a fun day coming via the water. I took photos of the dockage to help you. There is long seawall as well as 6 boat wells with docks. We had fantastic service, along with the fun of making our own bloody Mary's with plenty to items to get the day started. From sweet to savory our group enjoyed the Banana Nut Bread French Toast to Steak Bites! Always a fun experience here - will be back again soon.
First time to St. Clair Shores, this place was a suggestion. Loved it! We sat at the bar top and were served right away. I ordered the house white wine and fish and chips. My partner ordered a jack and Coke and hamburger. He upgraded his fries to the truffle oil fries and so glad he did! Everything was cooked to perfection. Love the ambience and the option to have lit lighting in front of you at the bar top if you want. (LED lights available)
Had a great afternoon with awesome food. We came by boat, and there is plenty of space to dock. Of course, parking is plentiful as well. Not only the food, but the drinks were also outstanding. Waitstaff is very friendly and attentive.
Such a great experience at Zef’s Dockside! My family and I came in on January 18 around 3–3:30 PM with a party of eight to celebrate my mom’s 50th birthday, and we had the best time. Our server was amazing—super sweet, super attentive, and always checking in on us. Our waters were never empty, the appetizers came out fast, and she really went out of her way to make sure everything was good the whole time. The vibes were high, the food was really good, and the drinks were even better 👏 It was such a fun, relaxed atmosphere and the perfect spot to celebrate with family. Overall, just an all-around great time. We left happy and will definitely be back. Highly recommend Zef’s for good food, great drinks, and awesome service!
One of the few places around where you truly get a serving of food that’s worth the price point. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food/cocktails are great!
We stopped into what looked like an unassuming marina restaurant and bar, and were blown away by how beautiful it was inside. We had a gluten free Beyond burger and fries, which were honestly delicious. It’s not always easy to find good vegan options, so that was a huge win. Cody, our bartender, made the whole experience. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and just had a great vibe. You can tell he genuinely cares. We will definitely be back. I heard they have a rooftop bar - eager to see a sunset from there!
My wife and I stopped in to finally check out Zefs Dockside after lots of recommendations. Plenty of parking and we liked how clean and how nice the environment was. We enjoyed the roll up doors and being on the water! The rooftop was closed , but we can’t wait to come back and sit up there. Our server Bethany, was incredible, she was prompt, knowledgeable about the menu, she checked on us a ton, amazingly attentive! Really couldn’t have asked for a better waitress. The food was fantastic We ordered provolone cheese sticks , the outside was perfectly crispy and flavorful while the cheese was perfectly melted. I ordered the Gouda burger and my wife ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich based on the recommendation of Bethany, both sandwiches were fantastic. My burger was juicy, flavorful and just how i ordered it. My wife said her chicken was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The portion sizes were also great! We cant wait to come back again and eat on the roof.
This place is a gem! The food was great, flavorful and delicious!! All the other places in town looked packed so we were worried we would have a long wait time. But to our surprise we didn't. The building is just really cool. We'd love to find ourselves near by again so we can try more things. We can definitely vouch for the Ruben, jalapeño burger, chips and Mac & cheese though.
